Final Cut Sound Video

The final theme of my last video dedicate to the drift project, was one of opposites. The video contains footage of something that I see as wonderful and freeing while the audio is made up of a collection of sound bites that (to me) are more relatable to feeling trapped or constrained.

Free Bird

As I was walking a long a very, very, very long stretch of road with no connecting streets I saw i hill that was swarmed with birds and I thought it looked really neat so I was hoping to do a man vs winged creature clip.

Exit

This one is a messed up collage of Pictures I've collected of signs while doing my drifts. The sound I made from the sound of my spoon hitting my cereal bowl using lots of layers

I got a lot of great footage at the skydiving school so took the best of what I got to make this clip.

Production Strategy

For my production strategy I wanted to personify, or, relate the non human with the human.
however the weather was not conducive to this plan. Most the days
I had available to film were rainy or cold and the one nice day I had bore little in the way of wildlife.

Assessment #4 Experience is Key

My favorite experience, situation, place, or recollection from either Drift:

The thing I enjoyed most on all 3 drifts was my relative anonymity. While I did get the cursory glance now and again I was pleasantly surprised at how disinterested most people seemed to be with me and what
i was doing even when I was recording them.
